Vision:
At FreshQue Foundation, we believe no child should go hungry after the school day ends. Every child deserves access to the nutritious food they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
Founded in September 2018, FreshQue Foundation works to close the after-school hunger gap by providing free, healthy meals to children and youth facing food insecurity. When school ends and parents may still be working, we make sure young people have the nourishment and community support they need to thrive.
With the support of our community, we are helping children stay healthy, focus on learning, and build brighter futures—one meal at a time.
We provide no-cost, nutritious after-school meals to children and youth experiencing food insecurity across North Texas, helping close the after-school hunger gap and ensuring every child has the nourishment they need to grow and succeed.
We collaborate with schools, community centers, and local organizations to expand access to healthy meals and strengthen support for children and families.
Through community initiatives, school programs, and seasonal events, we provide opportunities that support youth development both inside and outside the classroom.
Our work is made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners who help us provide meals and resources to children in need.
Our Impact
FreshQue Foundation works to close the after-school hunger gap for children across North Texas. In a state where nearly 1 in 5 children experience food insecurity, access to consistent, nutritious meals can make a critical difference in a child’s ability to learn, grow, and succeed.
Through strong partnerships with schools and community organizations, we provide reliable after-school meals that help ensure students have the nourishment they need beyond the school day.
226,800+ Meals Served — and Counting
Since expanding our after-school meal program in 2022, FreshQue has provided more than 226,800 nutritious meals to children and youth across North Texas. Today, we continue serving hundreds of meals each school day, helping ensure students have reliable access to healthy food after the school day ends.
