FreshQue Foundation was founded in September 2018 from a deeply personal mission: to ensure that no child experiences the after-school hunger our founder once faced.

Growing up in a single-parent household in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, our founder relied on free after-school meals after the school day ended.

Those early experiences revealed a powerful truth: hunger doesn’t just affect a child’s stomach — it affects their learning, confidence, and future.

With that understanding, FreshQue Foundation was created to close the after-school hunger gap with dignity and compassion. What began as one person’s lived experience has grown into a trusted community organization serving hundreds of children and youth each day.

Today, FreshQue remains grounded in the belief that every child deserves consistent access to nutritious food — and that with the right support, today’s hungry children can become tomorrow’s leaders.
